An alloy wheel on my Mercedes SL550 was severely bent causing a bad vibration and I thought my only option was to replace it at a cost of $950 for a refurbished one. I took a chance and called First Place Wheels after reading so many positive reviews. I was not disappointed! Mike is a true gentleman and professional and he put me at ease the moment I met him. Watching him work (which he encouraged), he made the repair seem easy – the mark of a true pro. The entire process took only 45 minutes and the car is now vibration free. I highly recommend Mike and First Place Wheels, and won’t hesitate to call him again!

Best experience with Mike. His customer service is insurmountable, he called me back on a Saturday to discuss my needs. His honesty and integrity was obvious upon speaking to him for the first time. I called him back on Monday and he got me in on Tuesday and had fixed my two bent wheels, saved me about $700, charged me a very fair price, mounted and balanced them then balanced my front wheels as well all within a few hours. My vehicle drives better than ever and I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone in need. I Honestly can’t say enough good things about Mike and First Place Wheels. 🙂

Mike is a master of his craft. This is the second time I’ve worked with him and both times I’ve been really impressed with the outcome. He straightened all four 21” rims on a Tesla S and made it drive like a new car. This time around, he straightened 22” rims and mounted 2 new tires on a Tesla X. He takes his time and shows you why something is necessary, and above all, he’s really good at what he does. Highly recommend.

Mike has unbelievable skill to transform any wheel from old/damaged to new. I thought mine were forever lost and I couldn’t buy them new anywhere. There isn’t anything that can’t be fixed. I’m so happy with the result. I’ll never consider going anywhere else. See the pictures for yourself.

I contacted Mike after being told that my Acura had three bent wheels. He was friendly, professional, and accommodating, and made the whole process a breeze.

Mike not only repaired and balanced the bent wheels, he also checked the 4th wheel, discovered it was unbalanced, and took care of that, too. The whole process took about an hour and a half and I was charged exactly what he quoted me beforehand.

You can tell when someone cares about their craft and their customers, and Mike clearly does. An hour after leaving, he gave me a call to make sure I was pleased with the results. I was happy to report that my car now rides smoother than it has in years.

I have a 2020 X5M comp suv I had terrible vibration in the car doing about 70 and up. I went to the dealer I asked him to balance the tires? He came back to me and said two right rims are bent what??? $1500 a rim!! the only place I have had this car serviced was at the dealer had car shipped to fla from Boston no issues so somebody had to do a little test ride on my dime!!! I was told to call First Place Wheel from a friend i called Mike he could not have been more pleasant and professional. He took the two wheels off the car and you could not believe how badly they were bent never seen anything like this and i have had many cars! I watched Mike reshape these wheels into perfect condition i was amazed never knew this could be done what a pro !! the car ran perfect after he finished and guess what $400.00 i was delighted to pay the man great person. I am telling he is the best i have seen in my career ! i was a BMW, VW dealer for 20years the guy amazed me.

Mike successfully managed to fix my SRT Chargers’ wheels after one of the (well known) tire stores in Jupiter made an absolute blunder of them. He managed to correct the balancing issues that no one else could fix and at the same time he repaired the scratches I got when the other guys installed my new tires. He’s so professional and it’s inspiring to see someone that is so passionate about their work. I will never go anywhere else except to First Place Wheels.

Mike did an amazing job on a very complicated Porsche project for me. My vintage ’95 993 had a set of Speedline 3-piece wheels that needed refurbishing. These things sell for close to $10K per set, if you can find them. Referred to First Place Wheels by Orbit Racing the Porsche expert who recommended highly. 2 other well credentialed wheel “restorers” had flunked on this project due to complexities they couldn’t master. Mike stepped in and took charge. My frustrations quickly turned to confidence. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Had bent rims that needed repairing. Found First Place Wheels on google maps and reviews looked promising. And I was super glad I decided to let them work on my car. Mike has a wealth of experience working with cars from what I can see/hear. He showed me the issue with my car before he began working on it so I know what is going on. He caught multiple issues that was not caught by other mechanics. Car runs much much better now! Still got some minor vibrations that I have to figure out the cause. Definitely recommend this place for people who wants a highly experienced mechanic that cares about their car.

First Place Wheels is a gem of a business!! My white 2016 Tesla had scruffy dinged up wheels.. Mike made them satin black and I think the car looks like it’s going to a black-tie affair!! Mike even said it’s like a “tuxedo” before I said anything!! LOVE!! Thanks so much, Mike!

First Place Wheels is one of the most well run, high quality establishments I have had the pleasure of visiting. Mike was professional, polished and a master in his field. I felt extremely comfortable in the well appointed lounge and had peace of mind knowing my vehicle resided in its own bay. There was not a chance of it being dinged or nicked or abused while at First Place Wheels because of the well designed layout. I recently went to First Place Wheels looking to repair two damaged wheels expecting mediocre service. I received the total opposite Mike the shop owner was not only knowledgable but very professional. My experience there was exceptional not only did the rims look amazing but I just found my new tire repair shop for life.. I hugely recommend Mike and First Place Wheels for any damages to your rims. Mike was very professional, in both customer service and customer relations/communication. Took a cracked rim around Orlando, searching for the best price, found multiple locations offering to fix it for $200+, Mike only charged me $100. Great quality service and a great pleasure to do business with. Any rim issues, definitely go here and he’ll take great care of you.

Was referred by several friends from Porsche Club to Mike at First Place Wheels. Had 4 OEM wheels refinished and to say the least I was not disappointed. Wheels are better than new. Had tires mounted and balanced, ride is superb. Thanks Mike for the meticulous attention to detail.

Mike is a true genius and master artist in the repair and refinishing of rims. I have been using Mike for the past 7 years. He always assures me he can repair the damage I have done to my rims regardless of what condition I bring them to him . I have RENN TECH single forged rims on my Mercedes which he has restored to absolute perfection every time.This last occasion I had to use Mike was a result of damaged incurred from a high end body shop. They destroyed the edges of the front rims to the point I really did not think they were salvageable. They are aluminium and the shop had obviously drove the edge into something hard enough to not only scrape the outer rims circumferentially but dent the edge. Mike wielded the dent and machined it down to perfection. I know of no other rim repair place that has a person who has done over 30,000 rims. I drive two hours to get to his shop because I won’t send them by mail. Mike’s new shop is First Class and he is a very straight forward pleasant natured gentleman. I have taken a rim to the dealer on one occasion and the results were disastrous.
Whenever I need new tires I purchase them from Tirerack and have them send directly to him. I never have to worry about the damage that the local tire shops have gifted me with in the past. They all say they have good techs but my past experiences has never reflected this.
If you have a high end rim or a nice rim like the AMG standard rim Mike is the only guy I would ever let repair the rim.
I will pay to get perfection that is backed up my a true master.

It was an absolute pleasure bringing my car to Mike to have him mount/balance my new tires. Having met him and visited his shop in the past I was completely comfortable with him working on my car, which was a first. I do as much as I can when it comes to my car to reduce the amount of times someone else’s hands are on it. If all shops were run like First Place Wheels that wouldn’t be the case. I would’ve gladly paid a premium to have him do the work but the crazy thing is he charges the same price as any other Tire Rack installer. You’re a fool if you take it anywhere else. I highly recommend First Place Wheels! It is by far the most professional, clean, and well run shop I’ve ever seen.

Two days into a new car I ended up with small curb rash on one of my rims. Like a thorn in the side. Called Mike and sent him a picture. Dropped the car off and he was done in less than an hour! The value, service level, and ease in dealings make him a no brainer if you’re in a situation like this. Thank you Mike!!

Fantastic work you just did on my M3. It hasn’t driven this nicely in a very long time. It’s totally smooth and drives like it’s on rails. Zero vibration on the highway. Top notch work. I would highly recommend his service. He takes the time to make sure the job is done right the first time which is really hard to find elsewhere. He takes pride in his work and it really shows. Mike is a great guy and very talented. He has worked with wheels most of his life. He can paint, balance, widen, repair chafed wheels, straighten bent wheels, mount and balance or order wheels and rare wheels that may be hard to find. He is one of the best in the area and aims to please.

I’ve struggled with a vibration on the highway on my daily driver 73 Trans Am and thanks to Mike’s suggestion of hub centric spacers for my aftermarket wheels and then high speed balancing the car is the smoothest it’s ever been all the way up to 120mph. Thanks a ton Mike! I’ll definitely be back when I get a new set of tires also refer my friends 😁🤘

This is the third Jaguar I’ve had serviced at First Place Wheels in Jupiter. I drove from Vero Beach to get here because Mike is an absolute artist when it comes to fixing wheels. I just bought an XKR and it had gouges on two wheels, from rubbing against curbs. An hour and a half after getting here, I was back on the road with what to all appearances were new wheels. I wouldn’t trust my wheels to anyone else. Period.

WOW! God bless Mike. He’s magic! When I heard my 2018 BMW X5 M’s wheel scrape the curb for what seemed like 10 long seconds in carline, it resonated thru the whole cabin. I could have screamed.
It’s like it never happened. It’s brand new and for an amazing price. If only he could erase some of my other mistakes😕. He also installs new tires weights and balance. Just left shop with 4 new tires. Black weights for my black wheels. CLASS! PERFECTION!

Simple to say, this shop is GREAT. Went there for a ‘simple’ wheel rash from a curb. Mike set an appointment after I texted him a pic. He quoted to be done within 2 hours. Well, I went for the appointment, didn’t wait and had my car back in about 45 minutes with a charge less than he quoted me. Wheel looked new again. Can’t beat that service in my book!

Michael is a real professional, I trusted him with completely polishing and trueing my custom 3 piece aluminum, chrome finished wheels that I have on my Ferrari. Needless to say, each wheel is expensive and replacement would require the manufacturer to custom remake the wheel. I admit, I was concerned but in the end, they turned out better than new condition, could not be more pleased, thank you, Steve W.

Professional service, fast, and very polite. They helped grab the Rim out of the back of the truck for my wife and helped reload it later. They even thanked us over the phone and in person for the business. I would recommend them to anyone in need.

And of course they fixed the bent aftermarket rim we had damaged due to a pot hole.
